Take Hearns, people say he won titles in six weight divisons (147, 154, 160, 168, 175, 190); but he was only World Champion in one (154)

At 147 he beat Cuevas, but the Welterweight Championship belonged to Leonard at the time (who beat Benitez who had beaten Palomino who had etc alway back to Kid Gavilan who won the vacant Championship after Robinson moved up to 160lbs).

At 154 he won the championship when as #1 contender he beat #2 contender Roberto Duran to win the vacant championship.

At 160 he beat Roldan, but at the time Ray Loenard had beaten Hagler for the championship.

At 168 he beat Kinchen yet Fulgancio Oblemejias was World Champion at the time.

At 175 he beat Andries and Hill, yet the championship was vacant at the times (Spinks having moved up to Heavyweight)

And the only 190lbs World Champ, Evander Holyfield vacated his championship the moment he won the vacant crown from Carlos DeLeon in 1988.
fine.

But what your basically saying is that if Hatton beats, say, Sergeii Dzinziruk for the WBO Light Middleweight Title that title would be just a piece of alphabet crap?

If yes, I do disagree with you
