I don't really know all the science behind it. But I do know that I was stuck at 175 lbs for several months. And when I started doing less sprinting and more jogging. Going for distance and length instead of speed. I'm down to 165 now.
So I would say that what works for me would be 25-30 minutes of interval training. More jogging than sprinting.
