Prime Vitali wasn't even as good as a past prime and quite out of shape Lewis. Vitali is way overrated and offensively actually far below a second rate heavyweight like Corrie Sanders. Thank goodness for his size and the weakness of the current era or he would be completely forgettable. As it is, he is completely ignored in the US because everyone realizes that none of the great large sized athletes are boxing so his wins over complete bums means absolutely nothing. This era is the analog to the "war years" when all the able bodied athletes were competing elsewhere and only lower level scrubs remained to fight among themselves.
Yeah, thank goodness, God forbid you give the man credit for achieving one of the greatest sports accomplishments possible. I mean far be it for anyone to recognize or appreciate a man who trains hard, is physically gifted, skilled, tough, and has achieved championship status. There's no reason to be over the top either way, both Klitschko's have earned respect and they dominate their division, period.
