I take it no one has heard of planche push ups and one arm pullups?
Bodyweight is extremely beneficial and compliments weight training.
Having said that, your imagination is the only limit to your bodyweight training.
As for explosiveness...well, I don't think dancers and most gymnasts lift weights for their explosiveness.
