to be honest mate if you're trying to bulk up it's best to keep your weight training sessions short but intense - sometimes even half an hour can be enough. make sure as soon as you finish you take some protein in - eg a whey protein shake. and rest your body between weights sessions, as this is when your muscles recover.
as for getting fat i wouldnt worry too much about it, besides training in the madagascar heat, its probably easy for you to lose weight anyway
