I'm mainly interested in how Cameron goes against Vea, and also how Cronje does against a solid performer in Azzaoui. Both those guys I want to win (Cameron, Cronje). It will be a good test for both. Not sure what happens if they lose.

Not a bad card, Vea vs Cameron should be great. It will be intresting to also see how Rabah is going on. Looking forward to his fight also.
Tomilson will have an easy night in the office, the guy he is fighting has nothing but a padded record and when he finally got a shot he was blown away within 6 rounds. Tomilson will have very little trouble with this opponent. When is this kid going to step it up? he fights non risk fights very often, not a good staple diet for a young and upcoming boxer, time he switched camps i think, he is going no where fast atm. He should move to USA i think he would do well, perhaps the next Robbie Peden. Wasting his time and youth here in AUS imho. Guys like Dibb getting IBF title shots while Tomilsons going no where fast. |

Can someone who knows a bit more about Vea tell me if he like to counter punch?
I've seen him throwing the right hand in a couple of fights and thought it looked good - could be all he needs for an upset here IMO. Just watched a video of Cameron sparring (if anyone wants to watch; [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - not sure if that'll work for everyone though) and I've gotta say he still isn't keeping his left hand up and he brings it back very low after throwing the hook, looks like he'll eat a few right hands come fight night - wore most of those throw at him in sparring, especially counters. |

Thanks for the video link, and long time no hear Darkshark. How are things in windy Wellington? Cameron had height, reach, fitness and class on his sparring partner. But still managed to get hit more often than he should have. Will be interesting to see how he goes against Vea. But if the Green bout ever actually comes off he'll get creamed! |

I love the way they made a big deal about him sparring heavy's before they let the cruisers in there, then show him with a "heavy" that looks like an out of shape cruiser anyway lol I think I'm actually gonna back Vea in this one, underdog for sure but I'm just thinking he matches up pretty well - Cameron's always been there for the right hand to hit. |

Tending to agree with you that Vea might have the edge. Thought Colonel Sanders would have got that giant chook of yours by now mate. |
