Some other shockers:

Curry getting killed by Honeyghan

Piper getting taken out by Thompson

Tyson/Douglas

Schmeling/LouisI and indeed II was a shocker as well

Del Valle/McKenzie

Camacho/Leonard (say what you want about Camacho, he will always fond place in my thoughts for flattening the arrogant one with a jab!)

Hearns/Duran

Nunn/Kalambay

Smith/WhitherspoonII
How is Schemling Louis a shocker when more than likely you've seen it in hindsight.

I was not using hindsight.

The title of thread gives scope for that.

So I suppose I should maybe add Sullivan/Corbett and maybe even as I am white Johnson/Jeffries...

..............That one not so much. It was a surprise for sure, but nowhere near the level of the second Ramirez match. By the time he fought Hiranaka, he was no longer "Duran's heir apparent."
