it was plastic bottles , a symbolic gesture at the most, the most damage they would have done was give somebody a bruised ego, it his responsibility to worry about fighting and he cant be held responsible for his fans actions. plus it was a long time ago so its irrelevant now. Under an hour till the card starts cant wait now!
