Yeah it'll be interesting to see where Tarver settles at, I thought he looked good at heavyweight and I was surprised when everybody thought differently. At the heavier weights he can pace himself and let his skills show more.
It's funny because I was actually a Tarver hater for a long time due to me being a big time Jones fan. But I felt kind of sorry for him when Dawson beat him twice and my perception of him changed as I heard him talk more, I think he's a classy guy and a good commentator so I consider myself a fan and I hope he can do some meaningful things from here.

When a fighter is not fighting for a title their contract for a 10 rd fight will just be a pound or 2 over/under the limit. Why drain down to 168 if you are not fighting for a title.

All I said was he had to drop weight to fight Mundine at SMW which going off his two previous fights he did. I did not once say that caused him to lose but it is a fact. Mundine beat him fair and square that not and all credit to him. However, most of the choices he has made since that fight leave a little to be desired.
He if fights a legtimate contender at any weight (if he sticks to one and actually makes the weight) and wins I will eat my words, until then he is only going to be know as the guy that promised to do so much in the world of boxing but delivered little.
