James Toney has been a genuine MW, SMW, LHW and HW in his career - show me any fight of his where he's been out of his depth at whatever weight class he has been in

Same goes for Barkley - he had a good run of HW fights at the end of his career - sure, he moved up from LHW after spending the majority of his career there and below, but if he'd struggled at HW and retired after 1 or 2 fights, or moved back down to LHW, then the case could be argued that he was not a genuine HW at the end of his career.

Tarver vs Green is a different situation which I've already explained but the dumb arses would rather ignore that and concentrate on the Toney/Barkley scenario instead

i don't care if tarver fought 40 of his 50 fights at strawweight. last night he was a GENUINE CRUISERWEIGHT.

seeing him at cruiser showed that he is VERY suited to the weight.

Mate, honestly... go and somehow find footage of Barkley at Heavyweight. It was the definition of a washed up pug who shouldn't be anywhere near the sport. KO Magazine did a feature article on it at the time.

The reason Barkley fought at Heavyweight is because he was flat broke and desperate for cash. His reasoning is that you could make more money at Heavyweight than at Light Heavy or Cruiser where he belonged.
