Super effort on the part of Cadle. I gave up on him 3 years ago. He appeared to be mentally fragile the 2 years he came second. It now appears that it was just a simple case of his team not giving him enough support in the years he lost in the earlier stages. His tank was empty by the time he got to the ITT.

Our dear friend Danny Green even tried to give a hand to Cadle by trying to slow Cantador down yesterday but Cantador would have nothing of it.

There's some red eyes just starting to surface around here - it's just gone 11am.

SBS have already run a show on Cadel's win a couple of hours ago this morning, and there's another show scheduled for Monday night.

I was watching last night fell asleep in fron of the tv

My wife wakes me as cadel starts his time trial and i watch the whole thing go to bed at 1.30 and am so pumped is an hour and a half before i can sleep

Its only the begining JIM! trust me Danny asked for this and he has it coming big time, so does Hyder. Rumor has it a website is being launched that will showcase all Dannys soft parts of the skull etc
