Default Headgear: With or without cheekguards?

Does it make much of a difference?

Makes a shitload of difference to your vision, cheekguards restrict your vision like crazy.

You cant see ALOT of incoming punches with cheekguards on.

Plus my cheeks always seemed more marked up when I would wear headguards with cheekguards on them.

So imo open face is the only way to go

iv got cheekguards and bloody hate them, every time i get even a little jab the head guard swirls round either to the back of the head or to the side, either way you dont see shit. Big issue if your sparring a dickhead who wont allow you to have a second to fix it and just decides to keep throwing punches at a blond man
