Tell that to Harry Greb, Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Archie Moore, and legions of other great, great fighters who used it as a matter of course.

Exactly.. Boxing requires rhythm.. don't me he did it for nothing, why would they even create it in the first place? To look cool? People don't box to look like models or show how fast they can hit a ball..

Not at all.

Come on, man. Yoga helps.
Yoga increases flexibility and some strength which helps prevent injury.

Ballet helps.
Same as above.

Street fighting experience helps.
Not really when it comes to actual boxing.

Grappling helps.
Obviously.

Reading "Corner Men" helps.
Yup.

Freakin' Hypnotism helps.
Probably increasing confidence but that's about it.

Everybody has much to learn. The rhythm of a fight is very different to punching a bag at a constant speed. Like I said earlier, if it's just the rhythm part of it you could just play an instrument and you'll be good at maintaining a rhythm. Everything you listed has carry-over to boxing, physically or mentaly. The speed bag is useless.
