Ike's best wins are better. I tend to rank a career of good wins over one or two great wins though. I don't rank Bowe as highly as most people, for example, but rank Lewis and Holmes very highly.

Vitali's age doesn't get taken into account often enough. It's very likely one of his best wins will come at age 40. And let's not forget, before fighting Vitali there was no blueprint on how to beat Solis, Johnson, Arreola, Hoffman, Ed Mahone and Alben Belinski. 17, 22, 27, 22, 21 and 5 had tried and all had failed.

Tua had concussive one punch power. A genuine knockout artist whereas Vitali just has heavy hands and throws a lot of shots.

Vitali has more depth, Ibeabuchi has more quality. Ibeabuchi was the better fighter.
Ike beat a green Byrd...there's not much to compare between the Byrd who fought Ike and the one who fought Vitali.

Vitali has never beaten anyone as good as Tua?...really?

Byrd may not have been in his prime but there was only a years difference between the Ibeabuchi loss and Vitali win. If you're going to say that Ibeabuchi beat a green Byrd, fine, but then you must also say that Vitali lost to a green Byrd because he did not become a better fighter from 1999 to 2000.

Ibeabuchi smashed him in 5 and Byrd beat Vitali in 9 and it was the same version of Byrd.

And, yes, really. Who is Vitali's best win? Sanders? Please. Tua would have walked through him and stopped him inside a round or two.

why's always the clueless retards that babble about being boxing experts? most if not all of your posts are either biased by your favorism for english fighters or your hate for the Klits
I remember the laughable predictions you made for the Klit-Haye fight.

If so many ppl. disagree with you, chances are that not all of them are a bunch of dumb****s and maybe they know something more then you don't, or maybe they see the real thing without letting things such as hate and favorism get in their head.

If you think that Ike has a better resume just because he beat a green Byrd and a never-has-been Tua, then you really are a ****ing retard

No, I'm pretty sure I'm right and they're wrong but thanks for the advice.

Again, if you consider Byrd green then you must also say that Vitali lost to a green Byrd. Did he?

he lost cause he injured a shoulder when he was ahead on scorecards. He never even rematched Byrd because it was obvious who would win in a rematch. That actually makes Vitaly great because the only way to beat him is to wait for him to get injured. You can't KO or outbox him.

Unfair poll.

Ike's career was stopped short by the Russian Mob to allow the Klit girl to rise.

The better poll would have been, who was the better boxer with superior all around technique. Than the correct answer would have been, Ike Ibeabuchi by a wide indisputable distance.

Ike by KO, round 8

What score did you have the fight at the time of vitali quitting?

At what point in the fight do you believe the injury happened?

It's very difficult to score the fight because Vitaly looked like a cripple in there. I think after round 3 he could hardly throw a jab. Vitaly was still up on scorecards, but he looked like he was in a lot of pain and he was more hurt when he thew left hand then when Byrd hit him. I just really don't like watching that fight.

Clearly not even comparable. Ibeabuchi is, hands down, the most overrated fighter of the last 30 years.
