Monzon was deceptive...he looked slow and easy to hit..he looked stiff and robotic at times..he seemed boring, but he was always able to hit his man..even when the opponent thought he was safe and out of range. Monzon, on the other hand, was harder to hit than expected, and the opponent always ended up doing what he didn't want to do, and being where he didn't want to be. And the opponent always found out how strong Monzon really was and hard he could hit.
