I want to see Mayweather fight someone who genuinely poses a threat. Now should the unthinkable happen and JMM decisions Pac that doesn't magically mean Pac is no longer a threat.
If he lost a close decision it wouldn't change anything if he was KTFO in like 50 seconds then who knows. But realistically the only way he might lose is a close SD or TD or something like that. |

No, I don't think they will. If JMM beats Pacquiao, then the latter might retire to focuss his carreer on politics in his homeland Phillipines or the fourth match between them may be made immediately. But i don't think that JMM can beat Pacman in the third match.

Then it would be a fourth fight between the 2. After all it would be 1 win a piece and a draw. As for the Mayweather fight, the demand would no longer be a top priority for the sport seeing how easily Floyd handled Marquez.

As long as Pacquiao still looks like a beast, then yes. Marquez fighting the fight of his life and the planets aligning to lead him to victory in a competitive fight does not make Pacquiao's abilities vanish on their own. Floyd and Juan Manuel are not the same fighter, and people will still want to see Pacquiao give Floyd the toughest fight he's ever had.
