also leaves the idea that it could be stopped on cuts again. because he opened him like a hot knife through butter.

It leaves me with the idea that Vitali has a glass face tbh.

I seen the fight countless times an i had it 5-1 vitali, an if i remember correctly no judge had identical cards...

So vitali with one eye, fighting a very game lewis (overweight, ha ha ha, 2 pounds heavyier then his last fight) for those last 3 lost one round, an he no question had to rush things out of fear of a stoppage.....

lewis won the fight, but no way did he have the COURAGE to face vitali in a rematch, he did not want to be the first #1 black heavyweight to lose to a white boy in over 40 years, he did not want that on his watch. No diffrent when top white guys did not want to fight jack johnson,,,same thing,

I guess I'd be a bitter Brit too if the best Heavyweight we had was practically shut out against Wladimir...........................

Same old discussion. Basically Lewis punch hits Vitali in face. Vitalis face opened up. Fight had to be stopped before Vitali went blind.

Lewis TKO6. Nothing else matters.

The fact it was a great fight and the last truly close and entertaining HW contest i think is the main thing i get from it all the time i watch it. I dont care who was not fit or who was still to green etc, once again we would all pay a large amount of money to see another fight like it

Lewis was on the way out, Vitali was on the way in. Two legends fought in a great fight with the younger Vitali haven't the better conditioning. But Lewis absolutely smashed Vitalis face up with some massive power shots. Vitali took them but his face couldn't stand up to the power. Must like Lennox's previous opponents

Froch was shooting straight through the middle and actually scoring with the jab.
Just found these stats on another boxing forum. Is this accurate??

Total Punches: Ward - 178 of 444; Abraham - 158 of 333.
Jabs: Ward - 107 of 289; Abraham - 64 of 177.
Power Shots: Ward - 71 of 155; Abraham - 94 of 156.
Combos Landed: Ward - 24; Abraham - 22.
