Gatti would be too small. Mayorga splatters him.

Fun fight while it lasts, mayorga late round stoPpage. Actually wouldn't be surprised though if he couldn't quite get gatti out of there though.

As much as some like to shit on mayorga, he was at least a whole level above Gatti, not to mention bigger. The 147lb Mayorga stops Gatti midway through in a badass fight.

Mayorga is alot bigger he would KO Gatti. If they were the same size I'd favor Gatti, he had underrated skills.

Just imo, Even if Gatti was a natural 147lber, he doesnt have the chin or defence to beat Mayorga.

To beat Mayorga, you either need elite level skills (forrest making it competetive in their second fight (and gattis not even close to forrests level p4p), which Gatti didnt have even though he could def box a bit, or you needed to be sturdy and powerful enough to bang with mayorga in the pocket while shrugging off what hes bringing at you, like a middleweight trinidad or 154lb Oscar.

Gatti could be a natural welterweight, and he would still get mauled by mayorga.

just imo though
