Almost right after the fight Pavlik wanted a rematch. But Sergio was pretty quick to turn it down. Then Pavlik decided to take time off.

Was anyone else surprised to hear how they basically all shit on Sergio Martinez last night? It actully went beyond that, it was as if none of them even rate him as a top fighter. Sometimes a fighter has an off day and Barker did well. But these ****wits went on like they just dont rate him at all.

Well in all fairness he isn't in the same class as pacquiao or mayweather. Let's be honest a couple of wins against not that great of opponents Paul Williams and poor version of Kelly pavlik is this what it takes to be held in the same regard as mayweather and pacquiao because i don't think so. There are no top p4p fighters who struggle with the likes of Darren barker, Richard Williams or kermit citron.

Miguel cotto would be to much for Martinez

I hate over hyped fighters who have not achieved the status that they have and are loved by fans like Martinez, calzaghe etc and when someone like floyd mayweather puts on a performance all you can do is hate on one of the best fighters the sport has seen.

I think Donaire and Marquez have good cases to be above Martinez P4P, Ward and maybe Dawson do too, I know Dawson lost to Pascal but I think that was an aberration
