Graham is a bad match up for most fighters - but I would give Benn a punchers chance.

Eubank lacked a jab against good fighters. He could not fight inside, and nor would he be able to deal with Hops infighting and rough housing tactics.

Eubank could never beat a guy on the level of a Hopkins. Mentioning Mercado is your only defense as to why Eubank beats Hop. As easily as Collins, Watson, and others hit Eubank, Hop would have a ****ing field day on Eubanks face.

I know I know! Trinidad was a natural welter, that's the official ESB comeback, genius! I take it Aaron Pryor is over rated for having signature wins over Arguello? How about Hagler being over rated for beating up Duran and Hearns?

TOTAL HORSE SHIT!

In answer to the OP. Eubank gives most fighters a nightmare on his A Game but he didn't beat a fighter on Hopkins' level in his entire career.
Benn and Watson Twice

I think Eubank gives hopkins hell and Hopkins gives eubanks hell in a close fight probably with Hopkins just eeking it out.
Eubank was in it for the money but I think he underestimated or underplayed his own ability I certainly think he wouldn't be outclassed by Hopkins or even RJJ whom he himself said he had no chance against but I think he would have had a chance.

Eubank beat 2 weight world champ Benn, undefeated 2 weight world champ Rocchigiani and beat many other world rated fighters like L Homes, Watson, Wharton etc. Eubank would have handled Hopkins at MW. Hopkins has trouble with top world class fighters his own size. Im sure you can state Tarver, but Eubank was a completely different level and would have given Hopkins fits

Eubank would have given Hopkins all the trouble, and though I think Hopkins would win, it would be very, very close.
