No clue to determine. He's athletic but at the same time smart and doesn't get hit that much. He's past his prime but still at the peak of his success so I wouldn't be surprised if he retired after another win but rarely do fighters retire in their peak of success. Other than Jones(maybe Machida if he wins?) no one really left worthwhile to fight.

Bump now that he has two dominant wins since this thread was started.

He's 37. He's slowing down slightly, but not enough that he doesn't still look and perform like Anderson Silva. How much time and how many fights are left?

I'm sure he would love to retire undefeated. I think as soon as he thinks his powers are on the slide he will hang them up. I cannot see the end at the moment. Who else is out there that can push him at middleweight though? whose left? He stated after the Bonnar fight that he doesn't want to compete at 205, so for as long as he stays at middleweight I think you'll have to say he won't be beaten unless a bones jones of the middleweights emerge at some point soon and takes him on.

I think the UFC are a little stuck with Silva now, especially if he refuses to fight at 205, there are no more challenges out there for him. Who next, Bisping? Again, Bisping is a few leagues below Silva, and you can only see one winner.

he may as well hang them up now, if he's not going to move up.
