Really want to see the actual footage but I'm not surprised Guerrero gave him problems. The goal in sparring for a pro fighter is to get a good feel for styles and work on your timing while taking it easy on your partner while your partner's goal is not to ko you either. It's different during an actual pro fight when your opponent's goal is to ko you or give you a beating.

Yea, this always comes up. I'm not even a fan of Pac but I see the pattern here. |

I can believe it. Styles make fights(sparring matches) I can see Guerrero give Pac trouble in a real fight until he starts getting hit. I doubt he can avoid doing that for 12 rds.

Just a reminder to that Iron Mike Tyson got battered in sparring before the Buster Douglas fight. Keep telling yourselves that 'sparring don't mean shit'.

Tyson messed himself up because he brought in the same nonchalant attitude he had in sparring into his pro fight with Douglas and payed for it. Fighter's are suppose to give about 45-50% effort during sparring and 100% with the actual pro fight. Tyson gave 40% in his fight with Douglas because he thought everything would just come to him and he could so far up he could only go down.

I know obviously a real fight and sparring are two whole different stages. But this is where you could see patterns and if you listen how he mentions how Guerrero kept Manny away with a jab. This is convincing me more and more that if Floyd ever faces Manny, this fight is more winnable for Floyd than Manny to win. Cotto got careless and mentally/physically wasnt prepare to go 12 rounds but he was able to control the fight with the jab in the beginning and even until the stoppage there were at times were he was easily hitting Manny and keeping him away with the jab. Mosley did it as well and even Margarito landed. I wouldnt be surprise if Guerrero was so shock to himself the way he control Manny with just a jab.
