He does have great power, good speed, good body movement, good instincts etc. Its not just the Poles who are hyping him up. There have already been many notable international fighters having positive reviews on him, which is unusual for a fighter with only a few fights. IMO Szpilka shines his best during sparring, but becomes a bit too hot headed to steamroll his opponents during actual fights. He let`s his emotions take over and does take many risks. We shall see how this plays out.

It's quite clear that Szpilka was a bit over confident during the last fight - he wanted to get another 1st round K.O. in spectacular style. Saulsberry was, although he had shit conditioning and little skill, a tough customer and wasn't going to be finished off easily within 30 seconds. If Szpilka fought like he did in the Beck fight, he would never have been under any pressure.

Not really a step down in his development, but rather a step up - he needs to respect any guy he steps into a ring with. Still - the knock down was a push.

actually in Beck fight Szpila also looked terrible throwing and missing those wide haymakers. Like nothing before Beck fight showed all holes in Artur's game. Beck was so passive in that fight and still managed to duck most punches and throw some out-of-faith counters that connected. Still good win for Pole. But right now he is too much of an unknown. Just another prospect who needs to be tested all the time during next few years

Szpilka needs to refine his skills, and to be more patient and not always press for the quick knockout.

He's young at age 22, I think it's possible he may develop into a top heavyweight within a few years.

of course it's sarcasm

but I disagree with you in particular details

Tua used to have great power, Szpilka is not even close to that

how can you say he has good speed and good body movement when he goes down twice brawling against this 40rs old pregnant guy?

the same thing with in instinct

for me last fight showed that he is crude brawler and the better the oposition will be the more clear it will look

but would like to be wrong on this

He is not just a crude brawler, although brawling is in his nature.

He obviously has talent and anyone can spot that. We have to give him time in any case to see what he can really achieve. He is very active since he got out of jail.

Are there any rumors as to who his next opponent could be ?

also how can you say he went down twice ??? He got pushed twice, didn't get Knocked Down. Fact.

You guys have to keep in mind he has only 9 fights on his record, all against very mediocre opposition, and 5 of those were in a different weight class, before his 2 year layoff, which he spent in prison, not in training camp. It is impossible to tell where he will end up right now. I personally think he has the basic skill set to turn himself into something. That is it, though, right now.

It's good to get excited about prospects, but the majority of prospects don't make it to the top. Expectations just need to be brought down, that's all. Just enjoy the ride.
