Theres a Kuk Sool Won place near where I live. They do classes for 4-6 year olds and I was thinking of putting my little boy in some classes. I would really like for him to learn Aikido but in liverpool there arent many places near me so is Kuk Sool Won a good alternative? I basically want my boy to be able to handle himself in any situation when hes older.

If you lived next to me, I would have you bring him to my MMA gym.(we have Jeet Kune Do for kids as well) Aikido is a good style to know but you have to make sure you go to the right person that's teaching the right way and not watering it down. |

Big Daddy Goodridge was given a 4th degree in it to represent them at UFC 8. He didn't know fuck all about the discipline. Dude was just a very strong arm wrestler who could street fight. I can't think of many pro's other than Goodridge who were from that background.
