Default Re: If Andre Ward stays disciplined with his jab, he should beat Kessler easy

I picked Ward to beat Kessler and win the whole tournament.

It wasn't because he was black or American. I picked him for the simple fact that he was the best and most complete fighter in the field. Kessler had very little chance, because he lacks good ring movement, he has no head or body movement, he stands too squared and his offense is almost only a jab and a straight right hand. It would take more than that to beat a fighter as diverse and complete as Ward.

Kessler was more hyped than Ward, because of his loss to Calzaghe. The guy had a soft resume and never really did much, but he was declared the best in the division. I ignored Kessler's hype and knew that Ward was just a better all around fighter.

I never thought that two heralded olympians was proven to be scared of fighting abroad, one of them being a cowardly quitter and the other the dirtiest fighter of his generation.

I always knew Froch and Kessler where warriors.

I always knew Abraham was overrated.

I was one of the few thinking that Taylor had a lot left.

Ward however wont have to be as good as calzaghe to beat Kessler. Just execute for 12 rounds.
Wow. Calzaghe better than Ward. what a noob

Yes Calzaghe exposed Kessler and gave the blueprint.
It was noted how Kessler had lost a step against Perdermo and then it materialised he was not only rusty but suffering double vision
