Default The "So how have you been betting?" thread.

So I like me some [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and some vBetting, but the problem with this forum is that discussion is mostly broken up into a series of disposable vBookie threads that are abandoned no more than a day or two after the fight. I'm thinking we need a longer-lasting clearinghouse thread in which people can brag about their wins, lament their losses, and discuss future bets.

I'll start.

This week I bet 10k on Helenius and by the midway point of IB's RBR thread I was sure I was going to lose it. Then a robbery saved me and I pocketed 2k. I also bet 19k on Cotto and took in another 10k. If that faggot Sauerland hadn't robbed Chisora I'd have ended up breaking even for the week, but as it was I made 12k.

Next week we have Khan versus Peterson and Wlad versus Mormeck. The Wlad fight is tempting because it's absolutely free money, but I'm sure the odds are going to be shit. Then again Vitali was a relatively healthy 0.20 against Adamek and everyone knew Adamek was doomed. If Wlad is that high against Mormeck I'll bet every last cent on him.

I suspect Wlad will be like 0.05 or some shit though, in which case I'll probably end up betting on Khan over Peterson. I dunno about the over/unders. I don't usually bet those, and the K brothers sometimes blatantly carry dudes for whatever reason.

Anyway, post what you've been doing and what you plan upon doing.

Since losing my entire wedge of VCash after Danny Green didn't KO Tarver (even without the benefit of hindsight an absolutely ridiculous bet ) I've been scraping together tiny win after tiny win to get myself back to a respectable total.

Finally managed to get back over the 1k mark last time out so spread a little around this past weekend on Helenius & Rios to win, and also Rios to beat the under. Thanks to that last one not happening my total winnings for the weekend were a less than impressive $3. Still, slow and steady wins the race...

Don't sweat man, I was at 75 when Ortiz beat Berto 8 months ago. It's easy to come back once you figure out what's up.

I was doing pretty well then got cleaned out on the Marquez/Pacquaio fight.

Had 850 on the under and 700 on JMM.

Lost some (on Margo), won some (on the Under) last week on the Cotto/Margo fight.

Oh well. Its funny money. Easy come, easy go.
