English: David Haye - gentleman, top bloke, feet on the ground, eloquent and intelligent, lots of bottle and heart, wants to fight the best, dares to be great...what more do you want?
Scottish: John Simpson - a lot of heart - remember the Matthews fight? - fair and true, honest and upright, never-say-die attitude, good boxer, good man. Welsh: Joe Calzaghe - "Supernatural". Irish: John Duddy - gentleman; very nice guy; likes to step it up and give his very best.

English: David Haye. I can't say that there is many fighters I geuinely like from England right now. Haye's a good guy with a ton of talent, so him.
Scottish: Probably Arthur. I don't know much about Scottish boxing though. He's a good talent, though I don't think he'll win more than 2 rounds against Guzman. Hopefully he can pull off the upset. Welsh: Gotta be Calzaghe. I wasn't a big fan up until the Kessler fight. I think it's around that time I thought "You know, he is actually pretty good". He'll beat Hopkins too, which makes me happy. Irish: Does Andy Lee count? If so, him. I like his fighting style and he has a good attitude towards boxing. I'd put him ahead of Gamboa in the potential list, which says a hell of a lot. |

English. Tough one there are so many good fighters. Can't decide between Lewis, Benn or Hamed.
Scottish. Harrrisson was a great world champ (hopefully he will be back) Welsh. JC Irish. McBride as he showed that Tyson was past his best and proved that any third rate shitty boxer could beat him. |

aah, this ones easy.
English- Junior Witter. Supremely talented, but had to live in the shadow of Hatton for years, despite winning british, commonwealth & european titles. Even now, despite him being a WBC champion, he still has to listen to people disrespect him, just cos he was & still is Hattons main domestic rival. Only now is he getting his dues, but the lad has had to go through some shit to get where he is today, all cos of a certain mancunian. Scottish- Alex Arthur. I always loved Scotty, but after waiting almost 3 years for him to get his act together, the love has worn off. All the while, whilst Scotty has been going crazy outside of the Ring, a certain Alex Arthur has been quietly racking up the wins whilst doing all the right things, & he is on the brink of greatness if ****** can deliver a fight with Guzman. & trust me people, if Arthur beats Guzman, achievement wise he blows all of Scottys achievements out of the water. Its that big a fight if it comes off. Like Witter with Hatton, Arthur has always had to live in Harrisons shadow. Until now. Its funny how things change in boxing as time progresses. Wesh- Enzo Macarinelli. proud welshman, always wants to fight the best & trash talked haye into accepting a fight with him. Gotta respect that, big Enzo is a true Celtic warrior in my eyes. Irish- It has to be Duddy. I watched a programme where he was on, & he was so bloody nice that you couldnt dislike the guy. He was talking to Jake Lamotta & it was humbling how much Duddy respected him. Only sad thing was, Jake couldnt understand a word of Johns strong irish accent! Its funny how a scotsman like me can understand Duddys accent no bother, but to America with so many so called "Irish" living there they were clueless when John spoke! |

I'm a big fan of the Yorkshire lads out there such as Woods, Witter and Johanesson and I can't really pick my favorite out of those so I'll go for Froch as my English fighter because I love the way everyone hates him.
Arthur as my Jock favorite. He's a decent bloke and has some serious ability. N Irish its got to be Duddy. I know he's stateside but he boxes well and has biult up a fan base. Welsh is an hard one because all the fighters are so damm welsh so its a pick due to his goofy grin, Enzo.Macc. |

I'm a Yorkie myself, and admire the likes of Clinton Woods and Carl Johanneson.
Hatton's my fav though! Honourable mentions go to: Joe Calzaghe, David Haye, Jamie Moore and Amir Khan. |
