The biggest drawcard in the sport is either GSP or Brock. If Brock can get a million PPV buys like he has been doing during his last few PPV, then I guess he'll be the biggest draw in MMA. If Overeem wins, I doubt that he'll be a bigger drawcard than a lot of fighters. Last edited by kokoko; 12-23-2011 at 03:05 AM. |

Brock Lesnar has been a huge cash cow ever since he joined the UFC, however after his brutal lost to Velazquez his draw has faded considerably, they will come nowhere close to a millions PPV buys.

Every year seems like a big year as of late, it's the end of the year to me.
UFC on FOX was the biggest event, but I believe this will be the biggest draw. UFC Rio had 500,000 IIRC. |

I think it's pretty huge. I'm anticipating the hell out of it. This is probably the most monstrous (physically speaking) high level fight in the sport's history. I just can't wait to see how the Overeem showcase goes. I'm favouring him pretty heavily, but you never really know.

If Overeem wins in impressive fashion via KO, he will be massively applauded by the casual MMA fans. Casual fans love strikers, and Alistair is a huge dude that is among the best strikers in the sport. Should he succeed that way Dana and company are hoping, he will draw in a ton of casual viewers and money.

Brocks the biggest seller. Reem offers everything he needs in an opponent. This is a huge REAL event with WWE like hype. It can't get no better than that. It would also be suprising if there wasn't some impressive displays of brutality from Brock or Reem.

Overeem winning leads to an infinitely more exciting fight versus JDS. If Brock wins then its another fight where JDS will look to light up his opponent but need to defend against the takedown. There will be much more wreckless abandon between Reem and JDS as they will 90% accept it is a good old fashioned dust up.
