touche, still though 99 per cent of boxers would do and have done the same thing as Williams, and claimed they had won when they know that they didnt. It would take an immense amount of honour to claim otherwise imo.

HBO's coverage would be much better if someone shoved the Compubox counter as far into Jim Lampley's body - by whatever means - with immediate effect.

Does my nut in listening to him spending the first 30 seconds of each round banging on about stats, then asking Lederman why he scored the round to the fighter with the lower punch count.

The yanks love stats and generally I would say all of sport do now. It can't be helped.

I like stats but sometimes its a load of shite.

I agree with you, although two wrongs don't make a right i know what you mean. That's why i have more respect for Woodhall then Williams it's hard to admit you lost.

BTW Achilles is right Scotty, i watched interview other week funnily enough and he says he won. Paul must be catching that delusion from his shit for brains trainer.
I thought I saw an article where he admitted he lost

I do get confused in my old age sometimes though

I think he was getting troubled by the boxing. I may have even had Cintron winning and I think he had just hurt him prior to end. Not sure if Cintron did it on purpose and quit but hard to say. A rematch would have been more final and I expect Williams to win because Cintron is mentally weak.
