Default Did JCC lose in 1981?

Just got done rewatching Chavez vs Lockridge (86) and Chavez is listed and announced as 47-1-0...during the match the announcers refer to this, and sauggest that although Chavez has not to this point in his carrear been KD'd he was in fact DQ'd in 81...Chavez's camp has denied this but it has been supported and documented by the Mexican boxing commitee...was this loss expunged from his carrear as in later years it is not listed??? Any info?

Chavez began his career on February 15 1980, with a sixth round victory over one Andres Felix. JCC was soon racking up the wins in an unbeaten run. Then on April 3 1981, JCC was disqualified for hitting Miguel Ruiz, whilst Ruiz was on the floor. The following day Chavez’s manager got the decision over turned, and the fight to this day goes down as a first round KO victory to Chavez.

He lost the fight on a DQ.

By some Orwellian ("1984") re-writing of history, the record books had been changed sometime in the late 80s when J.C. became "superstar".

Here it lay

"For many years all the leading record books, including both Pugilato and The Ring Record Book, recorded the first loss of Julio Cesar Chavez as being by disqualification....
This has since been changed to a knockout victory for Chavez, based on confirmation from the local boxing commission in Culiacan that it altered the verdict the following day.
Ramon Felix, manager of Chavez, happened to be a member of the Culiacan commission at the time."
The A-Z of World Boxing by Bert Blewett (1996) at p. 341.
