Duck Floyd by fighting a southpaw so this isn't even a tune up fight with the intentions of figting Floyd in the future.

Ok lets talk about it. There is 0 evidence that Floyd is seeking a fight with Pacquiao. All we got is a couple comments from twitter. There's no evidence that he's made any real moves, and going by history Floyd is known to be a complete liar and bullshitter when it comes to this stuff.

In reality we dont know who is ducking who, or anything like that, unless you know what's going on behind the scenes. How Is Pac ducking when he's clearly said he's willing to fight Floyd in May. If the only issue is the date .. why can't Floyd just agree to a date later in May, what's the big deal? What we do know is that Floyd has already booked a fight date and has been talking to GBP and their clearly have something planned.

Ok he shouldn't agree to a later date for a couple of reasons firstly what happens if either fighter gets an injury the later in May it leave absolutely no room for manouver.

Secondly the MGM is already booked.

Thirdly Cinco de Mayo is a big holiday and every boxer knows Mexicans still love boxing and will go and support this fight, maybe moreso than another weekend.

Fourthly if it is a gruelling fight Money may have to go to the slammer injured why risk that.

Now let me reverse the question on you why not May 5th, the cut isn't an issue (according to you hero) Pacquiao has plenty of time to train, he doesnt have a date or venue booked either.

There is no reason why not to just accept the date if as he likes to claim he fights for his fans.

The purse split, well it was Pacquiao who said he was happy to accept a smaller cut to make the fight happen, personally I don't care either way how the money gets split, even though recent reports have confirmed he has back tracked.

He's clearly got something planned for May 5th already and GBP has booked that date. If he's really serious about negotiating a Pac fight why would he do that.

You Pactards have short memories remember a certain count down clock, Bob Arum had booked the venue and date then, but it was OK back then cos it was Team Pacquiao who did the booking.

And Yes he has something planned its a damn fight, hopefully with Pacquiao and if not I would guess with Canelo.

Thats a really stupid (rhertorical) question, no fan can show you any evidence, but I will say this Schaeffer and Ellerbe have both said that they reached out to the retired judge to negoatiate and he wrote a letter to GBP saying that Top Rank said they weren't interested in negoatiating at this time.

In addition to this we all say what Bob Arum immediately said after the Marquez fight he wants to make Marquez 4 and not a Mayweather fight.
