Kessler vs Stieglitz.

i hear in april robert stieglitz has to defend his wbo title against mikkel kessler, a few years ago we all would've said this would be a walk over for kessler but since then stieglitz has improved a lot showing a better chin since the berrio stoppage and his speed and offence has gotten much much better, kessler on the other hand has had a loss to ward and not really looked as good since his eye problem.

after watching stieglitz fight weber on saturday i think he can make this fight interesting he has the hand speed to cause problems early but unfortunatly robert is very very hittable and i see mikkel stopping him around the 7th.

how do you see this fight going?

Close fight early. In the middle rounds Kessler's power will start to get to Stieglitz and he'll stop Stieglitz. Mikkell Kessler TKO 9 ( 88-83 Kessler )

I want to see Mikkel Kessler win it and I think he will. Maybe after that he can meet the winner of Froch-Bute, and then the winner of that meet up with Andre Ward to unify the entire division. How awesome would that be?

I think its a much tougher fight for Kessler than many think.
We dont know what Kessler still has in truth. Kessler doesnt like combination punchers, fighting on the inside and being backed up. Steiglitz has worked on his combination punching and has shown that he can fight for 12 rounds. Steiglitz is easy to hit so you would have to favour Kessler but I dont think its a foregone conclussion

Kessler by right cross impalement.

Stieglitz is not that improved, and the Viking Warrior looked to be getting back to his old self against Bouadla.
