If froch and bute make the fight and bute wins, Do you think ward will still say that bute has to fight somebody else to deserve a shot at him?

However,anyone who knows boxing knows Froch will stop Bute inside a round.

I really hope he doesn't but I have a feeling he will. Still better than fighting Dirrell because Ward would definitely not give him a shot if he won against him.

To be honest, I don't even agree with him saying it now. Bute's a world champion who's made what 9 title defences? like 5 of them have been from him waiting for the super six to finish when he's openly said he's waiting for the winner, fighting mandatories is surely better than just sitting around, is it not?

When the competition is finally finished the winner turns around to say Bute has to prove himself? There have been people with 1 or 2 defences who challenge for the unified status

I'd would absolutely love to see Bute get his hands on the WBO belt, then offer the WBC or WBA mandatory like a 90% cut to fight him instead, making him Ward's mandatory. That would send Ward to LHW running from his belts faster than Bowe did vs Lewis.
