Are we going on the old Kats? Maybe he can deliver something different in the ring to upset the odds on this one. New management and trainer surely he won't come in head first...

Its either kats or hank lundy v de marco.

Hank lundy can fight. Good speed and nice pop...he'd give demarco a harder time.

Hank Lundy wont like going into deep waters with DeMarco especially in the 2nd half of the bout.
If he couldnt handle a strong finishing John Molina, i dont think he will handle DeMarco either.

Solid matchup regardless.

Much more looking forward to a potential
Rios vs Gamboa, with Mike Alvarado in the co-feature.

Pound 4 Pound TV Xclusive: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Double-Header Moving to Vegas on April 14

Dan Rafael of ESPN.com reports via Twitter that the double-header featuring [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in separate fights will be moving both date and location. The card was originally slated for March 3 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., and now will head to Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay on April 14.

Rios (29-0-1, 22 KO) has been linked to all-action fighter John Molina as a potential opponent, but word is that the fight has all but fallen apart. Rios, who failed to make weight for his December 3 win over John Murray, has been working with a nutritionist to attempt to stay in the lightweight division, at least in the short-term.

One of the reasons it might be worth trying to stay at 135 is the impending challenge from current featherweight titlist Yuriorkis Gamboa (21-0, 16 KO).

Gamboa won a pair of fights on HBO last year, destroying Jorge Solis in March and following that with a win over Daniel Ponce De Leon in September. He said after that fight that he wanted to move up in weight to chase challenges, one of which was Rios, who went 3-0 in 2011, all exciting fights.

Hopefully if both win, and Rios can stay at 135 comfortably, this will lead to a Rios vs Gamboa fight by the end of the year

That will be a ball tearer if it happens.

looking unlikely.

Early talk was of Antonio DeMarco-Michael Katsidis at lightweight, which might have kind of sort of done the trick, but DeMarco apparently wants to do something else, so we might get another glimpse of heavyweight Seth Mitchell, who's fun to watch but I'd like to see him matched against a live body before I can get on board.

Its another good espn fnf. Lundy is looking for a title shot, he might be just short of the best guys at 135 but i want to see him get a crack at one of them. He might be up to it, he's got a bit going for him.

Hope 2012 sees the same type of quality fights/ matchmaking on espn as last year, although the programmer from 2011, doug loughrey has left. I loved espn fnf last year...some really good bouts. Lets hope we get more of the same.

Yeah Doug got out of the boxing game.

ESPN has put on alot of decent fights so far in 2012, & their schedule ahead looks solid also.
Thoroughly enjoying this season thus far.
