Default Cuts - Are There Any Fighters...

Who only have a handful of losses, all of them owing to cuts?

Basically, guys who'd be undefeated if it wasn't for unlucky cuts losses.

Mmm, I'm not sure about the notion that losing on cuts is purely a matter of luck...

Some cuts are flukes, caused by a foul...

It can be. Many cuts are created by fouls. Among them are a clash of heads, elbows, and lacing.

A good cut man can make a big difference by greasing a guy up to prevent cuts, or stopping a bad cut when it happens. Ring doctors much like referee’s have to make a judgment call on when to stop a fight on a cut. Some fights that are stopped on cuts have made sense, others have not.

I think Chamacho’s son once got a cut from a clash of heads early in a fight, and opted out on a cut the winner on points saying he could not continue.

Chavez did that against Frankie Randell in their second fight.

Bullshit.

Nearly all of Alan Minter's fights that were loses ended on cuts...Having said that, although he gave a gritty performance before being stopped by Hagler I don't believe he had a legitimate chance of winning this one!
