Huck is now a heavyweight.

If he wasn't, it would be Huck simply outworking Diablo to a bland points win, unless he got caught with something stupid and KO'ed (which is a very real possibility with him).

Kind of what people have been saying about Tarver-Diablo, except it's actually true that Diablo would have a puncher's chance in this one. (also Huck wouldn't be outpointing him using smooth boxing, but simply mere activity...so it could be closer on the cards than Tarver-Diablo would be.)

I read that Diablo's camp is negotiating with Showtime, they want to make the fight after Dawson-Hopkins II, because they want to earn more and not be overshadowed by the rematch

my guess is the earliest the fight is made in May

Tarver is hardly in his prime. He was motivated to fight Green can he get as motivated for Diablo? Last time I saw Tarver on tv he was probably around 230 give or take.

But if Tarver has a good camp and is in good shape sure he's the favorite.

Yes, but Wlod can definitely beat Tarver and would get a comparable payday. It's the logical move of the three IMHO.

Tarver certainly isn't prime; I never said he was. He's far, far from it - but probably no further removed than Wlodarczyk. (in reality due to physical toll, if not chronologically - thanks in part to his late start and never having really taken too much punishment with his style unlike Wlod who used to brawl).
