I have heard many great things about Chocolate, but haven't seen much from him TBH.

I know Jose Napoles has stated that Kid Chocolate was his idol.

You have mentioned nothing that would put any of those guys ahead of Mayweather resume wise.

You list Olivareswho was at 126 as being apart of Arguello's legacy at 130.

Then you go on to say Chavez beat Lockridge, Roger Mayweather, and Ramirez then claim in good conscience that Ramirez beat Pernell Whitaker.

As for Arguello's resume...I'd say Escalera was better than anyone on Floyd's 130lbs resume.

* Manfredy was hot going into their fight in Dec of '98. The winner was almost certain to win Fighter of the Year. The Chavez win was very good and played out impressively. Chavez was only ranked behind Freitas and Casamayor at the time in the semi-clear cut order of 130 at the time.

C- wins:
Carlos Hernandez
Carlos Gerena
* The Gerena Round 1 is one of my favorite Mayweather rounds. These fights were somewhat impressive in their own way. The Hernandez win wasn't dominant, but a guy like Carlos Hernandez is no chump.

D wins:

Gregorio Vargas
* These defenses meant little. They serve as showcases and defenses against top 15-20 type guys.
