I think Pep, Gomez wasnt nearly as effective when he moved up and I think he has enough gaps in his D that Pep could capitlise on.
But Im not really qualified to give a proper analysis, as I havent seen enough of Gomez's prime. Most of what I have seen are his post 122 days, which of course dont do him justice. |

Hard to say, Sanchez wasn't exactly knocking everyone dead when he fought Gomez, yet he was able to KO "Knocking-everyone-out" Gomez in 8 rounds.
(Pillowfist Ali KO'd George Foreman in 8 rounds, coincidence?) Gomez and Pep were fucking Gods in my book; Pep wins, decision. |

Featherweight was Pep's all to his own, he only got stopped after a near fatal plane crash and against a bigger, stronger, dirtier?, harder punching and more durable banger in Saddler. Gomez wasn't as effective at Feather and was a fan of the cocainum, so i take Pep by dec.
