We might never get to see this fight. Martinez won't risk a fight with Golovkin as long as big money fights like Chavez and Alvarez are on the table, and Golovkin can't build any recognition because none of the other recognized fighters are willing to face him (Sturm, N'Jikam).

not a chance martinez fights this guy. love how sturm gets alot of hate yet it seems sergio is choosin easy opponents... he fights matt macklin and yet he is duckin it seems pirog a big puncher undefeated ( holds a major mw title).. a real champs aka Klits (went for and got all major titles.

Macklin is a good fighter, and proved himself a worthy opponent. Personally I think Martinez is the clear #1 in the division and if top guys want to fight him they need to get their arses in gear and come to his base.

agreed i respect macklin but pirog is an undefeated fighter with more power then macklin and holds a major title. logically chosen macklin and barker guys over golovkin and pirog makes no sense....
