Well, he did fight Quarry twice, but Oscar only 1 time....he did fight Cooper twice. It was an incorrectly worded question..he actually had rematches with Frazier, Norton, liston, Patterson, Spinks, Cooper, Quarry, Bugner, Chuvalo, totalling 9 in all. Hell, it's just a trivia question.

What about Tunney for the first one? He was undeated as a HW, and was champion of the world, as well as staying retired.

The question was "who was the first to retire", and that was Jeffries, though, unlike Tunney, he didn't stay retired.
