Watch DeGale vs. Wilczewski, and then watch Abraham vs. Bozic/Farias (we won't even mention the 3 elite level SMW's he's been pistol whipped by - just the ones he's faced that are at or below the same level as DeGale) - and then see if you can honestly say that there isn't a very good chance of an upset if the Pole makes it to the final bell (and that he has an okay chance of doing that).

Obviously the favored option is Abraham by KO. The next most likely is Abraham by robbery or gift draw. Then Farias by tight decision (which most will feel ought to have been wider).

Abraham by legitimate deserved points win, Wilczewski by stoppage, or Wilczewski by shutout on the official cards - those are the only really outlandish and unthinkable outcomes in this one.

I and others found the scores to be fine

Really cant see how it could be closer or going to Wilk. But what we do agree is that the win was ok.

I also thought the fight was much closer then the judges had it. Although I don't necessarily dispute the decision, just think the judges did a shit job scoring the fight. There were a good few rounds where Arthur didn't come up with anything effective, and was outworked throughout some rounds. Also the point deduction from Wilk was complete BS in my opinion. Especially put into retrospect with all the fouling AA was doing himself, which he was rarely warned for. But it doesn't really matter when all is said and done.

Spot on about that crazy bit of officiating.

And yeah, it doesn't matter. Wilk was never getting the nod, even if he'd won a bunch of rounds clearly. (and he certainly didn't, although as stated above I did have him bagging just enough to squeak by...none of them crystal-clear stamped-in-ink rounds, though...)
