Default Re: Fields to face Meehan

I think someone hit it on the head when they said the people managing Fields has no confidence in him fighting at the higher levels, so they merely plod him along with a string of bums and window washers, hoping that something may happen, and he'll develop his skill a bit, to go along with is size and power. But Meehan will be, by far, the toughest and best fighter Fields has faced to date. So maybe he showed a noticeable improvement in his last couple of fights, which I obviously didn't see.

But that said, I like watching him fight. He's kind of slow and windmill-ish, at times, but he's so massive, and seems to go all out and put everything into his effort. Skilled or not, you can't help but like the guy.

But truth be told, he's not really that bad. I've certainly seen worse fight at the higher levels.
