I'm a sucker for the Draw. 10 on Draw. I haven't watched this guy, but he sounds like a live dog, only has split decision losses to Lundy and Prescott. I hope Rios has a spectacular win though, it'll make a fight against Marquez even bigger.

Kinda like the odds on the over, since Abril has gone the route in his losses, and bore up pretty well against a hard puncher in Prescott. Plus Rios tends to take a while to get going, so I'll put 500 on that, and 1500 on Rios to win (I think his workrate should carry the day, even if Abril makes a fight of it and hangs in there.)

Not bad reasoning, but I would put out there that Rios probably hits every bit as hard as Prescott if not harder and is a much better pressure fighter...

Which is why I think Rios will likely win without controversy (as opposed to having to squeak by with a disputed decision like Prescott did). I just might take him a lot longer than odds-makers expect to get the W, I think...

...Or hope, anyway...

I also bet on him. I'm going to take a chance on Abril. He's a sneaky, fast mofo.

Did you see Abril when he was in Boston two years ago? I thought he handled Lundy with ease. As for Prescott, based on the film I saw, I don't think he connected with as many shots as the announcers and CompuBox claim.

If Rios is looking like Ms. Piggy -- and reports say he is -- Abril may be able to slap him around for a decision win.

I was at Roxy's that night, yeah.

Nah, had Hammerin' Hank winning relatively comfortably myself.

Prescott ****ing sucks.

Rios' weight problems are disturbing, but Abril is a few levels below.

You must have been impressed with Lundy's "ring generalship," because in terms of punches landed -- and effective defense -- Abril had it hands down, I thought. All Lundy did was keep moving forward all night.
