audley would be a good business fight in the uk...but wont improve fury any

on global stage sam peter is a 'name' fury could beat, but would he want fury..maybe.

monte barrett might like a return to this side of the pond.

maybe even jean mormek

then, after that, throw him in with a top 15 contender

saying that...the price fight will naturally be growing into a big money fight...i can see why they dont want it now...not cause fury might lose (i think he would), but because thats a good payday that if you let it cook a little longer

Tyson Fury Feels Ready For Alexander Povetkin Clash

By Luke Furman

Fresh from his fifth round TKO win over Martin Rogan (14-3, 7 KOs), Irish heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (18-0, 13 KOs) feels ready to face WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16 KOs). Fury is likely going to return on June 30, with Povetkin facing mandatory challenger Hasim Rahman in July. There are some pre-fight issues. At the moment Fury is not ranked within the top-15 under the WBA.

"Tyson looked great. We will try to organize [another] fight for him as soon as possible. On the other hand, he is ready to fight the best fighters in the division. The fight we would like to get is with Alexander Povetkin, although we realize that it will be difficult to persuade him. After beating Povetkin, then we'll be able to think about fighting the Klitschko brothers," said Mick Hennessy, promoter of Fury.

Isn't Travis Walker the guy who fought Leapai in Australia?

If so he'd be willing to travel then, surely.

Although, Audley if he wins well would be a big event. Funny buildup!

M. Grant, K.J., Charr would be perfect.

Audley(if wins), Pianeta, Meehan, would be decent.

Price, winner of Pulev/Dimitrenko is a waste for now, better just go directly for a big money Klitschko fight.

I hope its:

Kevin Johnson
Michael Grant

Travis Walker

But it will likely be:

Fraudley
Big Larry

It'll be someone with a bit of name value that has seen better days.

I expect we'll see him in a combination of carefully selected mismatches and shootouts (as a result of someone not watching enough footage) over the next 18 months.

The likes of Price are well and truly on the backburner for the forseeable.
