Interesting fight this. Hall will walk him down and pressure him and webb will try and outbox him from the outside. I see this going to points and maybe Hall nicking it by being the agressor

Big fight for Webb really is, i think the long layoff will of done him good because that was one of bravest efforts i've seen in a British ring for many a year. He was beating Arron until he was caught with a peach.
I think if he settles to task Matty's got a hard nights work. Matt's last chance saloon really he might as well go for it from get go and lay it all on line. |

I think Hall will wear him down and stop him late on. Webb's heart to carry on in the Arron fight was great, but Arron isn't as strong a pressure fighter as Matt Hall can be. It's got the makings of a very good fight though

This will be a great fight, I think Hall with the changes to his diet after he found out his allergy to glutton and dairy products, will be alot stronger and
Pace himself. I think he will take a hard fought points decision, but Webb will have success with the jab. Expect this to go the distance. |

Interesting fight, was interesting to note Webb really struggled to hold a punch throughout the Arron fight. Every time Arron landed he was seriously hurt which is worrying since he's not a noted puncher. Theres a different dynamic here though where Hall has to get into range and Webb can spoil and move to make it much harder for Hall to land.

Good fight. That alone could be told by the fact opinion on here is pretty much split on it. I'd lean more towards Webb myself.
So was Cleverly's fight meant to be this weekend then if this was going to be on the undercard? If so, quite a short break for modern standards from the Karpency fight, although that was of course hardly any more than a glorified sparring session. |

T has a point although the punch that started it all in the Arron fight was on the eardrum and IMO a peach of a shot. From then on he never fully got his senses back, looked to be fighting on adrenaline and heart. I wouldn't be shocked if that punch perforated his eardrum.

**** knows..... I'd say Webb - Hall just isn't the same fighter after those bad KO losses to Small and Konecny.
I'd like him to win though, seems a great lad. |

webb takes this one for me, i think he will out box matthew hall, i reckon this could be a classic, and wouldn't be surprised if webb and hall stood and traded shots on a few occasions. As for the Aaron performance, Gary woolcombe told me the shot perforated sam's eardrum and from then on he couldnt get his balance at all, rather than being hurt by Aaron.
