All boxers have egos, but when someone who was world champion himself (when this meant something) is giving advice that ought to be plainly obvious, even to Khan.... he still can't take it on board and move on.

He doesn't even have to implement it (though he should), just don't start mouthing off on Twatter like you're some kind of superstar.

Like Scotty said, if the lessons aren't learned, he'll be feeling it from the first round, because Lamont will no doubt be tuned in from the first bell as to what he needs to do.

Saying that, I think Khan is just too one-dimensional to defeat rounded operators at this level, if his regular ''jab, bumrush, flurry like fuck, get out'' style doesn't work he just unravels, starts pushing and goes to pieces, sits on the ropes and takes punishment, ''to prove that I've got a chin innit''.
