The WBC and WBA have the grandest traditions, but at some point or another all 4 have run into their share of corruption.
Lately, the IBF seems to have been the most consistent though due to it's regulating and rankings and mandatories. They always seem to be having a tournament between top guys and eliminators. And they also seem to rank according to more than just activity and lobbying. I think the way Wlad and Bute have sowed their two biggest belt up for a stretch helps them though to keep eyes off their circle jerk at other weights. |

Lol the WBA could very well be the most corrupt of them all. . . They have done some shhaaaaaaaaaady shite. . . With their "super, regular, and interim" champs in each weight class is just wrong - they get to sanction each one for title fees. . . I still remember how they held the HW title hostage for basically 3 years. Valuev/Chagaev/Ruiz were the only ones allowed to challenge for the damn thing. . . WBA also seems to favor Europeans. EDIT: just like the others, they favor MONEY. . . Last edited by king khan; 04-25-2012 at 09:35 PM. |

The WBC does some to be the most "prestigious" because of it's history, lineage, etc. . . But today, I don't hold it with anymore regard than the other sanctioning bodies.
But they are all about the same. . . They all only favor one thing - MONEY. . . |

You can find the true lineal champion in each class if you trace the lineage. . .
I'd say the Ring Magazine Title might be the most legit, but they are owned by Golden Boy, Inc., so it's kinda hard to say there's not a glaring conflict of interest there. . . . |

the HW situation was a effin joke .... Ruiz would lose the title fight to Valuev, gets an eliminator vs Chagaev his very next fight lost that yet somehow got another title shot down the line |

Ring Magazine Champ is the closest thing to a Lineal Champ out there, so its easily #1.
IBF is next because they don't have any bullshit extra titles. Only the National/Intercon/World. A shiny new quarter. The word of a crackhead WBO - largely insignificant, crap ratings WBC - pick one of theirs, they have more than you can use Piles of dogshit. Rotting corpses. Ebola virus WBA regular/super - WBA is a fucking joke. Titles are gifted, rankings are bullshit and can be disregarded for convenience. |
