i think he's just had alot of bad luck so far. hopefully everthing back on track now.

As much as i'd hate for this to actually happen, it WILL happen.

He should of gone with Oscar when he had the chance. Bet he regrets that now!

I'd love to see him face Matthew Hatton within the next 18 months, and maybe go over to America to get some world class sparring/training under his belt.

Can you imagine Frankie and Floyd SNR or Frankie and Mcgirt? Jesus!!

yep. Mentality is a huge part of boxing and Gavin is weak in that department. If someone can name me an elite fighter that had this many problems in there first 3 years as a pro I would be interested.

the fact Gavin has had 4 fighters per year and isnt even close to winning a british title is almost laughable.

Sad but True.

The thing is though is that Gavin could go in to ANY GYM IN THE WORLD and get World Class Sparring due to his credentials.

But instead he is training at his old Amateur club and fighting for Irish Titles.

He is without doubt the most talented Boxer in the UK, bar none. Just a shame that it isn't working out well for him.

It would be laughable if it wasn't such an appalling waste. Whether its all his own fault or not, it isn't happening for him. Don't be surprised to hear he's retired in about a year

His performance against Lomax was fantastic.

He needs to turn in a few similar performances now to really get the ball rolling, otherwise he'll be the biggest waste of talent that we've had since Harrison.
