In a way i think they knew, including floyd, i mean it's not illegal, you try to get as many advantages as you can legally at least. Cotto cuts like paper, its hard not to exploit that by just getting a different glove that's legal. UNLESS all grant gloves are manufactured that way, I can't afford those so i wouldnt know

Floyd knows enough to put fancy materials on his shorts. Why wouldn't he know that patent would be on his glove? Now did he actively sit there and calculate the plastic opening up Cotto(e)'s paper face? I doubt it.

I dont think they knew...Floyd has been getting fancy ostrich Gloves, and gator skin gloves....the patent leather makes the gloves shine all fancy...This is Grant's fault...in his mind he's being innovative and making fancy shmancy gloves, but he probably didnt know that there is a limit to how fancy u could get, due to certain materials..I find it ironic that Floyd and Canelo BOTH had bad gloves, opposed to just one of them...but if Im not mistaken, Grant has only JUST started getting into super custom threads on his gloves
