Most of us have been in that situation at some point, I have quite a few times, the time that sticks out was the time I tried just to walk away and do things by the book if you like, I was about 15 and got beaten up quite badly, never made that same mistake again.

Spot on mate, My dad once told me 'hit first, ask questions later'. Sorry but i wouldn't let someone chin me just for moral high ground. To many people try be the better man and the other see's it as weakness and will keep going till it's stopped by violence.

Can't argue with Haye really. He was a tit for being there though. I know he likes to play the media as far as trying to 'earn' his way into a fight, but that wasn't the time or place to do it.

Haye's right, that Sky interviewer's an idiot. I do like that he's wheeled out the "people on the street keep asking me to fight him" line which he used for Audley too.

That was always the way I was taught, Coming from a Romany Gypsy family and values its a given, I was in trouble with the police quite a bit in those days and made the mistake of turning my back trying to do the supposed right thing, its weird but I remember it vividly and as I went to walk away I can remember how unnatural it felt, up until the punch to the back of the head and them the stamping on my head and the kick in the bollocks, then I just felt the pain.
